Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your access to the Tapquence website and desktop application. By downloading, installing, purchasing or using Tapquence, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Tapquence provides

Tapquence is a no-code desktop automation tool that can generate mouse clicks, keyboard input, key sequences, delays, waits and repeated actions. Features may differ by operating system, app version, plan or device permissions.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use Tapquence for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation. You are responsible for accurate purchase information and for protecting licence keys and account access.

4. Licence

Subject to your plan and payment status, Tapquence grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the application on the number of devices allowed by your plan. Tapquence and its branding, interface, code, templates and documentation remain our intellectual property.

You may not resell, sublicense, copy, modify, reverse engineer or circumvent licensing or security controls except where applicable law expressly permits this despite this restriction.

5. Trials, subscriptions and billing

Any trial length, included features, price, billing interval, renewal date and payment requirements are shown on the pricing page or at checkout. If a trial converts into a paid subscription, the checkout flow will state when billing begins and the applicable price.

Paid subscriptions renew for the selected billing period until cancelled. Payments, invoices, applicable taxes and subscription management are handled through Stripe Managed Payments. Licence delivery and activation are supported by Cloudflare and Resend. You can cancel future renewal through the subscription-management method provided with your purchase. Cancellation does not normally refund a period that has already started, except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout.

6. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms removes mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law. If you are an EU consumer, statutory rules for digital content and services may give you remedies when Tapquence is defective or not as described. Any cooling-off right, and any request for immediate delivery that may affect it, will be explained during checkout where applicable.

7. Acceptable use

You may use Tapquence only lawfully and responsibly. You must not use it to gain unauthorised access, bypass security or rate limits, distribute malware or spam, disrupt services, misrepresent activity or availability, harass others, infringe rights, or automate conduct that violates an employer's, game's, application's or platform's rules.

Tapquence is not designed or promoted as cheating software. You are responsible for confirming that automation is permitted in the environment where you use it.

8. Automation risks and permissions

Automated mouse and keyboard input can produce unintended actions if a target window changes, coordinates move, delays are too short or another app takes focus. Review and test macros carefully, use stop shortcuts and maintain backups. You are responsible for actions performed by your macros.

macOS may require Accessibility or related permissions before Tapquence can generate input. You decide whether to grant these permissions and may revoke them in System Settings. A platform or game may restrict automation and may suspend or ban accounts; Tapquence is not responsible for enforcement caused by use that violates third-party rules.

9. Local data and backups

Macros are stored locally unless a feature clearly states otherwise. You are responsible for maintaining backups. We are not responsible for loss caused by device failure, deletion, operating-system changes or failure to export important workflows, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

10. Updates and availability

We may add, change or discontinue features to improve security, compatibility or usability. We aim to keep Tapquence available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Operating-system or third-party app changes may temporarily affect automation.

11. Third-party services

Tapquence may interact with third-party applications and uses providers such as Framer, Stripe Managed Payments, Cloudflare and Resend. Those services are governed by their own terms. We do not control third-party apps, their availability or their automation policies.

12. Disclaimer and liability

Tapquence is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that every macro will run correctly in every environment or produce a particular result.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, account restrictions or third-party actions arising from prohibited, unsafe or misconfigured automation. These limitations do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Mandatory consumer remedies remain unaffected.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access when you materially breach these terms, misuse licences, create security risk or fail to pay amounts due. You may stop using Tapquence and cancel future subscription renewal at any time. Provisions that by their nature should continue will survive termination.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections in your country of residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect product, provider or legal changes. Material changes will be communicated when required. Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@tapquence.com.
