TAPQUENCE SUPPORT

How do I download and install Tapquence?

Install the Mac app and prepare your first conversation.

Download Tapquence for Mac from the website and install the app in Applications. The same Universal download supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs; check the current download for the minimum macOS requirement.

1. Open the download

Open the downloaded disk image and drag Tapquence into Applications. Once copying finishes, eject the disk image. Launch the app from Applications so macOS permissions remain associated with a stable app location.

2. Open Meetings

Use Meetings to configure your recording preferences or choose Record a conversation to start manually. You do not need a calendar connection to make a recording.

3. Grant only the access your task needs

Recording needs Microphone and Screen & System Audio Recording. Accessibility is used for supported detection and mouse or keyboard automation. Follow the in-app prompts and reopen Tapquence after changing access if macOS asks you to.

4. Try a short recording

Before a full meeting, record a short test and play it back. Once it finishes processing, open View recaps to check the audio, transcript and recap. The first transcription may prepare its local speech model and needs an internet connection for that initial setup.

Check your account and updates

Open Account to see the actual trial or plan status, and use the app’s update controls to check for a newer release. A trial does not turn into a paid subscription automatically. Written recaps use the Apple Intelligence enabled on a compatible Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 26.4 or later.
