Treat every template as a draft

A template demonstrates structure. Its example coordinates, shortcuts, folders and timing are not automatically correct for your Mac.

Replace every target

Select the intended application and update mouse positions, files, folders, websites and keyboard input.

Review repeats and timing

Set the repeat count to one and increase waits for the first test.

Remove unnecessary actions

A smaller workflow is easier to understand. Disable or delete any action that does not contribute to the desired result.

Confirm the stop path

Keep the visible stop control or shortcut available before enabling repetition.

Name the finished workflow clearly

Use a title that describes the outcome and target so the macro remains understandable later.
